Before you book a family ski vacation check and see what the vacation companies are providing as a package deal. Many companies provide free or reduced child prices when the children share the room with two adults and in some deals will also offer an outstanding price for a second kid as well.

Do not worry if everyone is not all accomplished skiers as you there are many destinations that offer ski lessons to cater for all levels and some run special ski groups just for the youngsters. Equipment can usually be hired if you do not have any already. There is no reason to go out to purchase skis, boots and special attire if you are not sure you will enjoy it.

Make sure you also pick a ski destination that has ski courses that are acceptable for everyone in your group. You can not expect a beginner to handle some of the difficult runs as they could quite easily get hurt or get into difficulty. There are many family friendly destinations that would be appropriate.
